sub-title "Executive Department", said new sub-title to be
known as "Department of Budget and Procurement", to fol-
low immediately after Section 30 of said Article 41 and
said new section to be known as Section 30A, to follow im-
mediately after said new sub-title, said new section provid-
ing that the Department of Budget and Procurement shall
be assigned to the Executive Department; to repeal Section
92 of said Article 41, sub-title "Finance Department"; to
repeal Article 78 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1924
Edition), as amended by Chapter 277 of the Acts of 1929
and Chapter 226 of the Acts of 1937; to add a new Article
to the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Suppl. ) said new
Article to follow immediately after Article 15, to be known
as Article 15A, to be entitled "Budget and Procurement",
establishing methods of budgetary administration and pro-
cedure to carry out the provisions of Section 52 of Article
III of the Constitution and providing for the creation of a
Department of Budget and Procurement, and defining the
powers and duties thereof, and to add five new sections to
Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935
Suppl. ) title "Public Works—Board of", said new sections
prescribing the duties and powers of the Board of Public
Works, to be known as Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That a new sub-title be and the same is hereby added to
Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments",
sub-title "Executive Department", said new sub-title to be
known as "Department of Budget and Procurement" to fol-
low immediately after Section 30 of said Article.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That a new section be
and the same is hereby added to Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition) title "Governor—Executive
and Administrative Departments", sub-title "Executive De-
partment", sub-title "Department of Budget and Procure-
ment", said new section to be known as Section 30A, to fol-
low immediately after the said sub-title "Department of
Budget and Procurement", and to read as follows:

30A. The Department of Budget and Procurement, con-
stituted and organized as provided by law, shall be assigned
to the Executive Department, and under the supervision and
direction of the Director thereof shall have and exercise all the
rights, powers, duties, obligations and functions conferred
upon it by law.
