bonds and to redeem said bonds as they mature and become
payable, and said taxes shall be collected in like manner as other
taxes in said county, and when collected shall be applied to the
payment of the interest on said bonds and to the redemption of
said bonds, as they mature and become payable.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds from
the sale of said bonds after the payment of the cost of engrav-
ing, printing and lithographing together with all other inci-
dental expenses connected with the issuance thereof shall be used
and expended by said Board of County Commissioners for the
purpose of refunding to the County Treasury the amount ex^
pended from the general funds of the county for the payment
of the costs of maintaining and establishing said police force
over and above the amount directly levied therefor.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 385.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 134
of Chapter 790 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, Session of 1912, as amended by Chapter 706 of the Acts
of 1920, said section being designated as Section 204 of Arti-
cle 16 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Mont-
gomery County, " sub-title "County Treasurer, " in the codi-
fication of the said Public Local Laws, edited by Horace E.
Flack, under the provisions of Chapter 193 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1929, so as to pro-
vide for the collection and deposit of taxes by the county
treasurer, the bond to be furnished by depositaries; to pro-
vide for the creation of a special interest fund and the alloca-
tion of said fund to the payment of certain county expendi-
tures.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 134 of Chapter 790 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1912, as amended by
Chapter 706 of the Acts of 1920, said section being designated
as Section 204 of Article 16 of the Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Montgomery County, " sub-title "County Treas-
urer, '7 in the codification of the said Public Local Laws, edited
by Horace E. Flack, under the provisions of Chapter 193 of the
