The above levies making an aggregate levy for State taxes
of twenty-five cents (25. 00) for the year nineteen hundred
and thirty-two (1932), and of twenty-five cents (25. 00) for
the year nineteen hundred and thirty-three (1933) on each
one hundred dollars ($100) of assessable property.

And there shall be duly levied, in accordance with law, the
same State taxes on the shares of the capital stock of all banks,
State and National, and other incorporated institutions and
companies of this State, the shares of whose capital stock are
liable to assessment and taxation.

CHAPTER 369.

AN ACT to authorize the purchase of a Fire Engine and
Equipment for the Town of Riverdale, Prince George's
County, Maryland, and to authorize the Mayor and Council
of said town to levy taxes to cover said purchase.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That in order to provide adequate protection from
fire, the Mayor and Common Council of Riverdale, in Prince
George's County, Maryland, be and are hereby authorized and
empowered to purchase on a deferred payment plan, on the
faith and credit of said town, one modern fire engine and
equipment, at a price not to exceed seven thousand five hundred
($7, 500. 00) dollars, and to make, execute and deliver such note
or notes or other evidence of indebtedness as may be required
to properly acknowledge and pay said debt, which shall bear
interest at not to exceed six* per centum per annum.
