sums so received by the Commissioners to the credit of the
water and sewerage fund shall be applied by said Commis-
sioners to the payment of the interest on and to the retirement
of such outstanding bonds as may be issued under this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 336.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections-
200 and 201 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Court Stenogra-
pher. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 200 and 201 of Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-head-
ing "Court Stenographer, " be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows::

200.      The Judges of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
appoint an official court reporter for said court, who shall be
an expert stenographer, shall be a sworn officer of said court,
shall hold office during the pleasure of the judges of said court,
and shall be paid a per diem of fifteen dollars for each
and every day of actual service, payable by the County
Treasurer of said county, as a part of the court expenses, upon
the presentation of the certificate of the clerk, or of any of
the judges of said court, showing the attendance and services
of said reporter.

201.      Said reporter shall attend and take full stenographic
notes of all oral testimony and judicial opinions in all pro-
ceedings in said court at such times and in such cases as the
court may direct. And said reporter shall make and furnish
to any party, upon request, a typewritten transcript of any
