SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1931.

CHAPTER 333.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 518 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1927.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 518 of the Acts, of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, Session of 1927, be and the same is here-
by repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
declared an Emergency Act and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety, and being passed
upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General As-
sembly, shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 334.
AN ACT to repeal Paragraphs A, B, C, D, E, F, and K,
of Section 64 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Public
General Laws (1924), title "Health, " sub-title "Manufac-
ture and/or Sale of Mattresses and Related Articles, " and
to re-enact the same, with amendments, so as to include
upholstered furniture and cushions within the provisions of
said Section 64.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Paragraphs A, B, C, D, E, F, and K of
Section 64 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws (1924), be and the same are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, so as to read as follows:
