be furnished for the purpose and if a majority of the votes
upon said question shall be "For Chestertown High School
Bonds, " then and not before the County Commissioners of
Kent County shall proceed to execute the powers and duties
imposed upon them by this Act, but if the majority of the
votes cast at said election upon said question shall be "Against
Chestertown High School Bonds, " then this Act shall be of no
effect.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 317.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County, Maryland, to borrow on the credit of said
county the sum of twenty thousand dollars and to issue and
sell bonds in the aforesaid amount and to levy an annual
sum to pay such bonds and the interest thereon as they
mature; said bonds to be called "Queen Anne's County
Grammar School Bonds of 1931, " and to appoint a com-
mittee to thoroughly investigate the present school facilities
of Queen Anne's County and to recommend the most eco-
nomical solution of the present overcrowded condition of the
Centreville Grammar School, and if said recommendations
are approved and ratified by County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's County the proceeds of said bonds to be used
for the carrying out of said plans and recommendations.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's
County, Maryland, be and they are hereby authorized to bor-
row on the credit of said county an amount not exceeding
twenty thousand dollars, and to issue coupon bonds therefor,
not later than July 1, 1931, in sums of not less than one hun-
dred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars. Said bonds
shall be signed by the President of said Board of County Com-
missioners and countersigned by the clerk thereof, under the
corporate seal of said Board of County Commissioners, to be
designated as "Queen Anne's County Grammar School Bonds
