on said bonds outstanding, and to redeem said bonds as they
mature and become due, said taxes to be collected as other taxes
levied in said county are collected.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted. That the County Treas-
urer of Wicomico County shall keep in a book to be provided
for that purpose, a full registry of the bonds sold, the serial
numbers of said bonds, the names of the purchasers, the
amounts realized thereon, and all redemptions and maturities
thereof.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted. That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from date of its
age.

CHAPTER 316.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Kent County, Maryland, to provide for the building of
additions to and otherwise to remodel, renovate and equip
the public high school building in Chestertown; and to
issue bonds to pay for the same, and to levy an annual sum
to pay such bonds and the interest thereon as they mature;
and to create and designate a commission for the building
and equipping of additions to the said public school building.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Kent County,
Maryland, are hereby authorized and directed to borrow on the
credit of said county an amount not exceeding one hundred
thousand dollars, and to issue coupon bonds therefor, not later
than April 1st, 1933, in sums of not less than one hundred
dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, to be signed by the
president of said Board of County Commissioners and coun-
tersigned by the clerk thereof, and under the corporate seal of
said Board of County Commissioners, to be designated as
