gomery County to issue bonds for the permanent improve-
ment of roads in the several Election Districts of said
county and prescribing the conditions under which such
bonds shall be issued. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter No. 30i of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1924, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County to issue bonds for the permanent improvement of
roads in the several Election Districts of said county and pre-
scribing the conditions under which such bonds shall be is-
sued, " be and the said Act is hereby repealed; but nothing
herein provided shall affect, the validity of any bonds issued
against the assessable property of Montgomery County or any
election district thereof for the construction of such roads as
may have been built and financed in whole or in part under
the provisions of said Chapter No. 301, and the Board of
County Commissioners of said county is hereby authorized,
directed and empowered to levy annually against the assess-
able property of the county or of an election district as the
case may be such sums as may be necessary to pay the interest
and to retire at maturity such bonds as may remain outstand-
ing on the effective date hereof.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take

CHAPTER 282.
AN ACT providing for the issuing and sale of bonds by the
Mayor and Council of Grantsville for constructing, erecting
and maintaining water works in said Town of Grantsville,
condemn such land as may be necessary for the building of
said works, and to levy taxes on the assessable property of
said town to redeem said bonds and to pay the interest
thereon.
