SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 193 of Title 20 of Offutt's Revised Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore County (Edition of 1928), en-
titled '' Elections, '? be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
193. The judges and clerks of election in said county shall
receive six dollars per day while acting as judges and clerks of
election, or as registration officers. For the services performed
by said judges and clerks after the closing of the polls on the
day of any election or primary election, such officials shall be
paid additional compensation at the rate of sixty cents per hour
for every hour during which they are actually engaged in the
performance of the duties imposed upon them by law.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 276.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1929 Supplement), title "Elections, "
Sub-title "Registration, " said new section to be known as
Section 28C and to follow immediately after Section 28A
of said Article, to provide for a new general registration of
all qualified voters of Baltimore County and Allegany
County in the year 1932 to supersede all the registers of
voters of said counties now in existence.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1929 Supple-
ment), title "Elections, " sub-title "Registration, " said new
section to be known as Section 28C, to follow immediately after
Section 28A of said Article, and to read as follows:
28C. In Baltimore County and in Allegany County a
new general registration of all the qualified voters of said
counties shall be made by the boards of - registry of said
counties in the year 1932. Such new general registra-
