of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date
of its passage.

CHAPTER 41.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes and Pun-
ishments, " sub-title "Fraud—Live Stock, " said new section
to be known as Section 205A and to follow immediately
after Section 205 of said Article, relating to papers or cer-
tificates of pure bred stock.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Fraud — Live
Stock, " said new section to be known as Section 205A, to follow
immediately after Section 205 of said Article and to read as
follows:
205A. Refusal or failure of any person to furnish the pur-
chaser of any cow, bull, calf, sheep, hog or other livestock
within ninety days after the sale and delivery of such cow,
bull, calf, sheep, hog or other live-stock, provided payment
has been made for said animal, the paper or certificate show-
ing that such animal is pure bred stock when such paper or
certificate is a condition of the sale, shall be deemed a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction thereof said person shall be
fined not less than five nor more than fifty dollars for each
offense.
SEC. 2. And be if further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1031
