mentioned in Section 2 of this Act, but may consider it ad-
visable to spend the amounts specifically set out for said
schools, additions or sites, or any portion thereof, elsewhere in
the construction of school buildings or additions to school
buildings or the purchase of sites, then and in such event the
said Board of Education may by resolution request the County
Commissioners to issue the bonds of said county to pay for
such new purposes, provided that the total cost of such new
purposes shall not exceed the total of those specific items in
Section 2, which the Board of Education has determined not
to construct or purchase. In such case, if the County Com-
missioners concur in the advisability of issuing such bonds for
such new purposes, they shall, by their resolution, order that
the same shall be issued and the proceedings thereafter shall
be the same as if such new purposes had been originally men-
tioned in Section 2 of this. Act, with the same powers and
restrictions. In case the determination of the Board of Edu-
cation of Prince George's County not to use the funds pro-
vided for the purposes, specifically mentioned in Section 2, or
any of them, shall be made after the bonds have been sold, then
and in that event, it may by resolution request the County
Commissioners to substitute for the specific purposes for which
the said bonds were sold, or any of them, the construction of
such new schools, or of such additions to schools or the pur-
chase of such sites as said Board of Education may consider
advisable and if the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County concur in such changes, or any of them, they shall by
a resolution approve the same, and thereupon such new items
shall be substituted for the items in Section 2 of this Act,
which the said Boards desire to abandon, and the Board of
Education shall proceed with these new items in the same
manner and with the same powers and restrictions as if the
same had been originally mentioned in Section 2 of this Act.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1931.

AN ACT to regulate and limit the suretyship of all sureties
on bonds in criminal cases before any one of the Justices
of the Peace or Police Justice of Prince George's County;
