of the "School Building Commission of Salisbury, " at Salis-
bury, in Wicomico County, State of Maryland; to provide
for the payment of the interest on said bonds and of the
principal thereof by the levying of taxes; to create a "School
Building Commission of Salisbury7'; to supervise the build-
ing and equipping of said additions to said school.
WHEREAS, The said High School was authorized to be
erected and equipped by Chapter 196, of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1929, and has since been erected
and equipped and is about ready for occupancy and use; and
WHEREAS, The present building, as erected and equipped,
is not adequate to accommodate but 70% of the present enroll-
ment of High School pupils; and
WHEREAS, The completion of said additions to said school
would make it adequate to take care of the entire High School
enrollment in one building; and
WHEREAS, Some further expenditures are necessary to com-
plete and equip said additions to said school. Now, therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for the purpose of erecting and equipping
Section C and the east wing as additions to the new Wicomico
High School, as shown on the blue prints for the building of
the existing "School Building Commission of Salisbury" at
Salisbury, in Wicomico County, State of Maryland, the County
Commissioners of Wicomico County are hereby authorized, em-
powered and directed to borrow on the faith and credit of
Wicomico County, the sum of one hundred and ten thousand
dollars ($110, 000. 00), and to issue bonds therefor from time
to time in such amounts as may be deemed necessary by the
Commission hereinafter named and when requested by said
Commission, to carry on the said work.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That the said bonds
shall be issued in denominations of one thousand dollars
($1, 000. 00), with coupons attached thereto for the payment
of interest thereon, semi-annually, on the first day of July
and January in each and every year thereafter until the ma-
turity thereof; said bonds shall be signed by the president of
the County Commissioners of Wicomico County and counter-
