application or "misapplication, appropriation or misappropria-
tion by the Commissioners of Cambridge, of the money arising
from the sale of any or all of the said bonds.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the Commissioners
of Cambridge are authorized and directed to levy and collect
upon all the assessable property of the City of Cambridge a
tax sufficient to promptly pay the principal and interest on
the said bonds as the said principal and interest on the said
bonds shall become due and payable, and the said levy and
collection of taxes aforesaid shall be made at the same time
and in the same manner as the levy and collection of other
municipal taxes.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the Commission-
ers of Cambridge shall have full power and authority to appro-
priate the proceeds of sale of said bonds for any one or more
of the following municipal purposes of the City of Cambridge;
that is to say:

(a)   For the acquiring of land and other property necessary
for the widening of Poplar Street or any other public street
within the said corporate limits, and for the acquiring of land
or other property, including rights of way for any sewer within
the said corporate limits.

(b)   For the location and placing of sewers within the cor-
porate limits of the City of Cambridge.

(c)   For the curbing and/or paving and/or otherwise per-
manently improving the public streets and thoroughfares with-
in the corporate limits of the City of Cambridge.

(d)   For the paying for any bulkheading and the filling in
of land in connection with any park, street, sewer or other
property owned or to be acquired by the Commissioners of
Cambridge within the said corporate limits.

(e)   For the widening and improving of any street or thor-
oughfare within the said corporate limits.

(f)    For other permanent municipal improvements found
by the Commissioners of Cambridge necessary to be made.

(g)   And to buy necessary apparatus and equipment of any
kind for fighting or extinguishing fire.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted. That for the purpose
of widening and improving any public street or thoroughfare
