SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
submitted to the qualified voters of the Town of Princess Anne
and to the property owners at least twenty-one years of age
and who are otherwise qualified to vote of the territories de-
scribed as "North Annex, " "East Annex" and "West Annex, "

in paragraphs (b), (c) and (d) aforesaid,, for adoption or
rejection, at a special election to be held on Tuesday, June
2nd, 1931, after publication of notice of election and of the
question to be voted on in at least two newspapers of general
circulation in the Town of Princess Anne and published in
Somerset County, once a week for two weeks immediately
preceding the date of said election, and there shall be printed
on the ballots used at said election the words "For Annexa-
tion" and "Against Annexation, " with a square after said
words in each case, for the (X) mark of the voter, and the
voter may vote thereon by a (X) mark after his choice, and
if there be a majority of votes cast in favor of said annexation,
then this Act and the provisions thereof shall go into effect
immediately; and if there be a majority of votes cast against
said annexation, then this Act and all its provisions shall,
therefore, be null and void. A special registration for prop-
erty owners in the territories proposed to be annexed as well
as for residents of the Town of Princess Anne who are not
already registered to vote and who are qualified to become
voters and who intend to vote at said special election shall
be held on Monday, May 18th, 1931, between the hours of
eight o'clock A. M. and six o'clock P. M., of which registra-
tion public notice shall be given in at least two newspapers of
general circulation in the Town of Princess Anne and pub-
lished in Somerset County once a week for two weeks imme-
diately preceding the date of said registration. Before any
property owner in the territories proposed to be annexed shall
be registered to vote he or she shall first make oath that he or
she owns property in said territory and that he or she is at
least twenty-one years of age, after which his or her name
shall be registered in a separate book to be specially furnished
for said election, provided that he or she is otherwise qualified
to become a voter. The election shall be conducted in the
manner prescribed by the charter of the Town of Princess
Anne and the polls shall be open from eight o'clock A. M.
to six o'clock P. M.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
