JOINT RESOLUTIONS
NO. 1.
A Joint Resolution authorizing and requesting the Board
of Public Works of Maryland to transfer or allocate a
sufficient amount from the Contingent Fund appropri-
ated to said Board in the State Budget for the fiscal
years ending September 30, 1936, and September 30,
1937, to pay the salaries and expenses incurred by the
Maryland Milk Control Commission.
WHEREAS, The Maryland Milk Control Commission, cre-
ated by Chapter 310 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1935, incurred certain expenses for rent and other pur-
poses, as well as for salaries during the period when said
Act was held to be valid; and
WHEREAS, It is the duty of the State to see that these
salaries and expenses are paid; therefore be it
Resolved, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Board of Public Works of Maryland be and it is hereby
requested and authorized to transfer or allocate from the
contingent appropriation made to said Board in the State
Budget for the years ending September 30, 1936, and Sep-
tember 30, 1937, the sum of eighteen thousand four hun-
dred dollars ($18, 400. 00) or so much thereof as may be
necessary for the payment of salaries and expenses of the
said Maryland Milk Control Commission created by Chap-
ter 310 of the Acts of 1935; and be it further
Resolved, That the said sum, or so much thereof as may
be necessary, shall be expended for the purposes herein-
before set forth, after an audit of the accounts and records
of the said Commission during its existence shall have been
made by the State Auditor and a report thereof has been
submitted to the Board of Public Works as the basis for
the expenditure of the amounts hereinbefore authorized to
be allocated for the use of said Commission.
