CHAPTER 154.

AN ACT to add eight new sections to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Elec-
tions, " sub-title "Registration, " said new sections to be
known as Section 29-A to 29-H and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 29 of said Article, providing for a
permanent general registration of voters in Montgomery
County in the year 1938, and for subsequent registration
and revisions; relating to the forms and equipment to be
used for such registration, and providing an additional
method of making Declarations of Intentions in Mont-
gomery County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That eight new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1924 Edition), title "Elections, " sub-title "Registration, "
said new sections to be known as Section 29-A to 29-H, in-
clusive, to follow immediately after Section 29 of said
Article, and to read as follows:

29-A. In Montgomery County, the names of all persons
now registered on the registration books shall be tran-
scribed on cards provided for the permanent registration
of voters as herein provided.

It shall be the duty of the Board of Supervisors of Elec-
tions of Montgomery County not later than June 1, 1936,
to prescribe the style, form, color, quality and dimensions
of all forms, cards and records required to provide for the
permanent registration of voters as herein provided, and
to prescribe the requirements of the cabinet, binders and
other equipment needed for filing the original and dupli-
cate registration cards, but said board shall not prescribe
any particular design or make for such cabinets, binders,
or other equipment. The Supervisors of Elections of Mont-
gomery County, shall proceed as soon as practicable to pur-
chase all such forms, cards, records, cabinets, binders, and
other equipment as prescribed by the Supervisors of Elec-
tions; and the expenses of all such purchases shall be
audited and paid in the same manner as prescribed for
salaries and other expenses by Section 3 of this Article.

29-B. Registration forms or cards shall consist of an
equal number of original cards or loose-leaf pages of one
color and duplicate cards or loose-leaf pages of another
