try and determine cases under Section 470A of this Act,
but that only such Justices are vested with authority herein
as would have jurisdiction and authority to hear, try and
determine cases of violation of the law before the passage
of this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1936.

CHAPTER 107.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
131 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1935 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-title
"Inheritance Tax, " increasing the commission of clerks
of the courts and registers of wills for the collection of
the inheritance tax.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 131 of Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Revenue and
Taxes, " sub-title Inheritance Tax, " be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

131. It shall be the duty of the several clerks and the
several registers of wills in this State to account with and
and pay to the Treasurer monthly all sums of money re-
ceived by them respectively, for which the clerks shall be
allowed a commission of two per centum, and the
Register of Wills shall be allowed a commission of
ten per centum upon the amount of said inheritance tax,
and the said clerks shall be allowed a commission of five
per centum, and the Register of Wills shall be allowed a
commission of twenty-five per cent, upon the amount re-
ceived of the tax on official commissions and executors'
commissions, respectively, so paid over.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the First day of June, Nineteen-Hundred
and Thirty-six.
