CHAPTER 104.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
18 of Article 72 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1935 Supplement), title "Oysters, " sub-title "Time for
Taking Oysters, " permitting the taking and shipping of
oysters from the waters of Worcester County at any
time.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 18 of Article 72 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Oysters, " sub-
title "Time for Taking Oysters, " be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
18. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to
take or catch oysters or have oysters in his or their posses-
sion between the fifteenth day of April and the first day
of September in each and every year; provided, that oysters
caught before the fifteenth day of April may be disposed
of at any time before the twentieth day of April; nor shall
it be construed to prevent any person from taking oysters
at any time from his private beds within the State for pri-
vate use or transplanting or cultivating but not for sale;
provided, however, that it shall be lawful to take oysters
from the waters of Worcester County at any time by the
use of hand scrapes, any other law to the contrary notwith-
standing, and to ship the same in the shell, and no license
fee shall be charged therefor.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1936.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
298 of Article 24, of Flack's Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County, "
sub-title "Snow Hill, " as amended by Chapter 147 of the
Acts of 1931 of the General Assembly of Maryland.
