Any person who shall dredge without a license or dredge
in the waters not provided for in this Section shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be-
fore any Justice of the Peace or Court of competent juris-
diction shall be subject to the penalties provided for in Sec-
tion 27 of this Article. Provided, however, that no person
shall be deemed to be in default under the provisions of
this Section until the lapse of thirty days from the date on
which he shall be required to obtain such license.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1936.

CHAPTER 101.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title
"Talbot County, " sub-title "Oxford, " said new Section
to be known as Section 340A and to follow immediately
after Section 340 of said Article as amended by Chap-
ter 159 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, 1935, authorizing the Commissioners of Oxford to
borrow any sum of money, not exceeding Five Thousand
Dollars, which they may deem necessary for defraying
emergency expenses of the Town of Oxford.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, " sub-title "Oxford, "
said new section to be known as Section 340A, to follow
immediately after Section 340 of said Article as amended
by Chapter 159 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, 1935, and to read as follows:

340A. The Commissioners of Oxford may borrow on
the faith and credit of said Town any sum of money, not
exceeding Five Thousand Dollars, which they may deem
necessary for defraying emergency expenses of said town,
and execute a note or notes as security therefor.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
