or more than one thousand dollars ($1, 000. 00) or imprison-
ment in the county jail for not more than nine months for
the first violation, said not less than one thousand dollars
($1, 000. 00) or imprisonment in the county jail for not less
than nine months, or both, at the discretion of the court
for each subsequent violation.
All fines and penalties imposed and received for the vio-
lation of any of the provisions of this sub-title shall be
paid to the University of Maryland College of Agriculture
or its agents and all monies so collected shall be used to
meet the expenses of the University of Maryland College of
Agriculture in the enforcement of this sub-title until Sep-
tember 30, 1937. Thereafter all fees received under this
sub-title shall be paid into the State Treasury to be used
solely in enforcing the provisions of this sub-title and shall
be included in the State Budget to be submitted to the
General Assembly at each regular session.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1936.

CHAPTER 54.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Wicomico County to borrow upon the faith
and credit of Wicomico County the amount of Four Hun-
dred, Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450, 000. 00) and to is-
sue and sell coupon bonds therefor, to be known as "Wi-
comico County School Bonds of 1936"; the proceeds
thereof to be used by the Board of Education of Wicomico
County for the construction and equipping of school
buildings in Salisbury, Sharptown, Mardela, Delmar and
near Fruitland, in Wicomico County, State of Maryland;
to provide for the payment of interest on said bonds and
the payment of the principal thereof by the levying of
taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for the purpose of erecting and equipping
a school building in the town of Sharptown at a cost not
to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40, 000. 00), an ele-
mentary and high school building in or near the town of
