CHAPTER 343,
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 93 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title
"Guardians and Infants not Residing in this State, " to be
known as Section 210A, to follow after Section 210 of said
Article, providing that a resident of any other state, which by
its laws denies to residents of Maryland the right to act or
to qualify as guardian of an infant residing therein, shall not
be appointed or allowed to qualify as guardian of an infant
resident in this State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Testa-
mentary Law, " sub-title "Guardians and Infants Not Residing
in This State, " to be known as Section 210A, to follow after
Section 210 of said Article, and to read as follows:
210A. Any person who is a resident of any state by the
laws of which residents of Maryland are denied the right to
qualify and act as guardian of an infant therein, shall not be
appointed or allowed to qualify as guardian of any infant resi-
dent of this State, but nothing in this Act shall be construed to
impair the validity of any appointment or qualification ante-
dating the taking effect of this Act or to effect, in any way, any
provision of law relating to the transferring of property in this
State belonging to wards in another state or country.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 344.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section
(a) of Section 37, and Sub-section (b) of Section 39 of
Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Water
Fowl—Birds and Game, " sub-title "Water Fowl and Migra-
tory Birds. Use of Boats Prohibited, Blinds, " as said Arti-
cle was enacted by Chapter 568 of the Acts of 1927.
