the case of petit jurors, from the respective district which is
the residence of the juror or jurors creating such vacancies.

391H. That the jurors of Baltimore County shall receive
five dollars for each and every day they shall attend the Cir-
cuit Court for Baltimore County as jurors, and fifteen cents
for each mile over five miles for going to and returning from
said court, once in each term, to be paid by the Treasurer of
Baltimore County; and the County Commissioners shall levy
annually such sum of money as they may deem sufficient to
pay the expenses and charges for the succeeding year for the
attendance of jurors summoned to the Circuit Court for said
county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts, general or local, inconsistent with any of the pro-
visions of this Act be and the same are hereby repealed to
the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after June 1st, 1929.

CHAPTER 340.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 16 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Chancery, " sub-title "Non Com-
potes Mentis, " to be known as Section 117A, to follow after
Section 117 of said Article, providing that a resident of any
other state which by its laws denies to the residents of Mary-
land the right to act or qualify as committee or trustee of a
person non compos mentis, resident therein, shall not be ap-
pointed, or allowed to qualify as committee or trustee of a
person non compos mentis resident in this State,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Chan-
cery, " sub-title "Non Compotes Mentis, " to be known as Sec-
tion 117A, to follow after Section 117 of said Article, and to
read as follows:
