SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That the Board of County Commissioners of Bal-
timore County is hereby authorized, at the time of the annual
tax levy each year, to make a special levy of not more
than twenty-five cents on each one hundred dollars of asses-
sable property situate in the village of the Long Beach Es-
tates in the Fifteenth Election District of said county, the said
special levy to be collected as other county taxes are collected.
The proceeds from said special levy shall be used for road
improvements in said village, and the said Board of County
Commissioners may, in its discretion, pay over said proceeds
to any authorized committee or association of said Long Beach
Estates to be used exclusively for road improvements.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That for the purposes
of this Act, the Long Beach Estates shall include and com-
prise two hundred and twenty-eight acres of land which, by
deed bearing date of January 19, 1911, and recorded among
the Land Records of Baltimore County in Liber W. P. C.
373, folio 138, etc., was conveyed by Walter R. Townsend
to Cityco Realty Company and as shown on the plat of said
property recorded among the Plat Records of Baltimore Coun-
ty in Liber W. P. C. 4, folio 131, and known as Plan C.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 313.

AN ACT to add two (2) new additional sections to Offutt's
Revised Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County,
1916, to follow immediately after Section 316, to be known
as Sections 316A and 316B, providing for an appeal to the
Circuit Court of Baltimore County from the judgments of
Justices of the Peace in certain cases where a jury trial has
been waived.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That two additional sections be added to Offutt's
Revised Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County,
