have power to make and enforce rules and regulations for
the public health and safety, and to authorize empower and
direct the said Mayor and Town Council of Riverdale
Heights to make annual levies of not to exceed twenty cents
($. 20) on each one hundred ($100) dollars of the assess-
able value of real and personal property of the said town
of Riverdale Heights, for the purpose of improving, main-
taining, repairing and lighting the public roads, streets,
alleys, lanes and sidewalks and parking, for improvement of
drainage and for other public improvements; and for pro-
viding police protection and other public services and for
defraying the necessary and incidental expenses of the Mayor
and Town Council of Riverdale Heights in the performance
of its public duties; and who shall appoint a Town Clerk and
Treasurer to receive and disburse said funds; also directing
the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's
County to pay over to said Town Clerk and Treasurer of
the said town of Riverdale Heights for the purpose of main-
taining, repairing roads, streets, lanes and alleys of said
town, the money collected on account of the county road
and bridge tax in the same amount and manner as is now
required by law to be paid to incorporated towns in said
comity.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That the citizens of the Town of Riverdale Heights
are a body corporate, by the name of the Mayor and Town
Council of Riverdale Heights, and by that name may have
perpetual succession, sue and be sued, have and use a common
seal, and may purchase and hold real estate, or dispose of the
same for the benefit of said town.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the boundaries of
said town shall be as follows: Commencing at a point at the
east line of the right of way of Edmonston Road and at the
north line of the right of way of Riverdale Road at the inter-
section of Edmonston Road and Riverdale Road, thence in a
northerly direction 3, 000 feet, more or less, along the east line
of the right of way of said Edmonston Road to the Northern
boundary of Riverdale Heights sub-division, thence in an east-
erly direction, 1, 924. 09 feet, more or less, along said northern
boundary to the eastern boundary line of Riverdale Heights
sub-division, thence southerly 1, 950 feet, more or less, along the
eastern boundary line of Block 23 and Block D of Riverdale
