Bonds'' thereon, and if the majority of the votes cast upon
said question shall be "For Chestertown Sewage Disposal
Plant Bonds, " then the Commissioners of Chestertown, shall
proceed to execute the power vested in them by this Act, but
if the majority of the votes cast shall be "Against Chester-
town Sewage Disposal Plant Bonds, " then this Act shall be
of no effect.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 224.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
209 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Edi-
tion of 1924, title "Licenses, " sub-title "Motor" Vehicles, "
Part VI, caption "Rules of the Road. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 209 of Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, Edition of 1924, title "Licenses, " sub-title
"Motor Vehicles, " Part VI, Caption "Rules of the Road, " be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows:

PART VI.

RULES OF THE ROAD.

209. All vehicles, motor, horse-drawn or otherwise, when
being driven upon the highways of this State shall at all times
keep to the right of the center of the highway upon all high-
ways of sufficient width, except upon streets or roads where
traffic is permitted to move in one direction only, and except
when overtaking and passing another vehicle, and unless it is
impracticable to travel on such side of the highway, and in
rounding curves shall keep as far to the right of the center of
the road as reasonably possible; and any vehicle overtaking an-
other going in the same direction shall pass to the left of the
vehicle so overtaken, provided the way ahead is clear of ap-
proaching traffic and the operator signals the vehicle intended
