of Maryland, title "Montgomery County, " sub-title "Takoma
Park, " as enacted by Chapter 790 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1912, be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts, laws and parts of laws, ordinances and parts of ordi-
nances, inconsistent herewith or contrary hereto, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all
the members elected to each of the two houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 170.

AN ACT to repeal Paragraph I of Section 4 of Chapter 390
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1924
entitled "An Act to incorporate the town of Cottage City,
in Prince George's County, Maryland, " and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Paragraph I of Section 4 of Chapter 390 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1924 entitled.
"An Act to incorporate the town of Cottage City, in Prince
George's County, Maryland, " be, and the same is repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows:

(I) That said Commission shall by resolution appoint a
town treasurer to be known as the Cottage City Treasurer,
who shall also act as clerk to said Commission. The salary of
said treasurer shall be one hundred dollars per annum.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
