CHAPTER 143.
AN ACT to repeal Paragraph L of Section 11 of Chapter
390 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1924 entitled "An Act to incorporate the Town of Cottage
City, in Prince George's County, Maryland, " and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Paragraph L of Section 11 of Chapter 390
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1924
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Town of Cottage City, "
in Prince George's County be, and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows:
(L) That annually, after this Charter becomes effective, on
the first Monday in May, if not a legal holiday, and if a legal
holiday then on the day following, said Board of Election
Supervisors shall conduct an election by ballot for the election
of the Commissoners to constitute and be the Cottage City
Commission for the ensuing year and until their successors
shall have qualified. Said election shall be held at the regu-
lar meeting place of the Cottage City Commission and the polls
shall be open and the ballots cast between the hours of 5 o'clock
P. M. and 10 o'clock P. M. At such election each registered
voter shall be allowed to vote for a candidate from each of the
three wards.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect May 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 144.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2
of Chapter 200 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1916, providing for the changing of the bound-
aries of the town of Mount Rainier, in Prince George's
County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 2 of Chapter 200 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1916 be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to
read as follows:
