the sale of such by the Sheriff of Frederick County, and the
proceeds of said sales to be disposed of as are fines and for-
feitures.
4A. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, firm,
club or corporation, to sell directly or indirectly, or receive
orders for the purchase of, or give to any person or persons
under twenty-one years of age, within the limits of Frederick
County, any spirituous or fermanted liquors or intoxicating
drinks of any kind whatsoever, or any article used or sold as
a beverage in the composition of which whiskey, brandy, high
wines or alcohol, or any spirituous or fermented liquors shall
be an ingredient or ingredients.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing in this Act shall
apply to cases pending nor to any violation or violations of the
law, which have heretofore occurred, but all such cases and vio-
lations shall be prosecuted and punished under the law here-
tofore in force.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1929.

CHAPTER 129.
AN ACT to authorize the creation of a State debt in the aggre-
gate amount of one million five hundred thousand dollars
($1, 500, 000), the proceeds thereof to be used for the con-
struction of bridges in the various Counties of the State; for
paving in Baltimore City, and providing generally for the
issue and sale of certificates of indebtedness evidencing such
loan.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That in order to provide for the construction of
bridges in the various Counties of the State and paving in
Baltimore City, a loan is hereby created to be known as the
"Bridge Loan of 1929, " to the amount of one million five
hundred thousand dollars ($1, 500, 000). Seven hundred and
fifty thousand dollars ($750, 000) of such loan shall be dated
