CHAPTER 570.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 29
of Article 75 of the Annotated Code of the Public General
Laws of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Pleadings, Prac-
tice and Process at Law, " sub-title "II. Practice, " sub-
heading "Abatement and Revivor, " said amendments pro-
viding that no action for injuries to the person shall abate
by reason of the death of the defendant; and to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 106 of Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland
(1924 Edition), title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title
"Debts, " said amendments providing that executors and ad-
ministrators shall be liable to be sued in any action for in-
juries to the person which might have been maintained
against their testator or intestate, provided such action be
commenced within six calendar months after the death of
their testator or intestate; and to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 1 of Article 67 of the Annotated Code
of the Public General Laws of Maryland (1924 Edition).

viding that executors and administrators shall be liable to
actions for damages to which their testator or intestate would
have been liable, in cases of death caused by wrongful act,
neglect or default, provided such actions be commenced with-
in six calendar months after the death of their testator or
intestate.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 29 of Article 75 of the Annotated
Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland (1924 Edi-
tion), title "Pleadings, Practice and Process at Law, " sub-title
"II. Practice, " sub-heading "Abatement and Revivor, " be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so
as to read as follows:
29. No action of ejectment, waste, partition, dower, re-
plevin, or any personal action, including appeals from judg-
ments rendered by justices of the peace, in any court of law
in this State shall abate by the death of either or any of the
parties to such action; but upon the death of any defendant,
the action shall be continued and the heir, administrator or
executor of the defendant, or other person interested on the
part of the defendant, may appear to such action; and in case
