provisions of this Act, are hereby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1929.

CHAPTER 558.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (Edition 1924), title "Clerks of
Courts, " sub-title "Clerks of Circuit Courts, " said new sec-
tion to be known and designated as Section 59A, and pro-
viding that printed forms of conditional sales contracts
offered for recordation shall be printed in certain type.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That one new section be and the same is hereby
added to Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Edi-
tion 1924), title "Clerks of Courts, " sub-title "Clerks of Cir-
cuit Courts, " same to be known as Section 59A and to follow
Immediately after Section 59 of said Article and to read as
follows:
Section 59A. Any person, firm or corporation offering for
recordation in the clerk's office any conditional sales contract,
upon a printed form shall cause said forms to be printed in
good, clear, readable, of not less than eight-point type. The
recording charges for any such instrument not conforming to
the requirements of this section but offered for recordation
may be three times the charge now allowed by law for the re-
cording of the same.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.
