tax upon the interest or title of the State of Maryland or any
political sub-division thereof in either of said bridges or ap-
proaches.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all of the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of
its passage.

CHAPTER 543.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 93 of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Testamentary
Law, " to be known as Section 335A, relating to lapse in gifts
to a class of persons.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be added to Article 93 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Testamentary
Law, " said new section to follow immediately after Section
335 and to be known as Section 335A and to read as follows:

335A. In all wills executed after July 1, 1929, unless a
contrary intention is expressly stated in the will, the provisions
of Section 335 in regard to lapse shall apply to all devises and
bequests to two or more persons as a class in the same man-
ner as though such devises or bequests had been made to such
persons by their individual names.

CHAPTER 544.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-
title "Fraud—Advertisement, " said new section to be known
as Section 185A, to prohibit the sale or exposure for sale of
non-kosher food preparations as kosher.
