SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 542.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission of Maryland
to join with the State Highway Commission of Virginia, to
purchase the interstate highway bridge and approaches over
the Potomac River near Point of Rocks, Maryland, and to
use funds appropriated for the construction of roads and
bridges in the State highway system for such purposes, to
provide for the vesting of title to said bridge and approaches
jointly in the (State of Maryland and the Commonwealth of
Virginia, in each an undivided one-half interest; to authorize
the State Roads Commission of Maryland and the Board of
Supervisors of Loudoun County, Virginia, to purchase the
