general State school fund is now, or may hereafter be, dis-
tributed, payable to the orders of the treasurers of the respec-
tive county boards of education, or the Board of Commissioners
of the Public Schools of Baltimore City, for such sum or sums
as they are entitled to receive under the provisions of this Ar-
ticle, and shown by the certified list of high schools as aforesaid.
Provided, that not more than one high school shall be granted
State aid under the provisions of this Article in the same vil-
lage, town or city, unless each additional high school has an
average daily attendance in excess of two hundred pupils; pro-
vided that this provision shall not affect the right of schools
on the approved list at the date of passage of this Act to re-
ceive State aid. Should any error in the amount of
State aid for any high school be discovered after the origi-
nal list is certified, the State Superintendent of Schools shall
correct his report by certifying the proper changes to the Comp-
troller. In the event that the amount due all high schools elig-
ible for State aid exceeds the amount appropriated therefor,
then the amount appropriated may be pro-rated among such
high schools.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect September 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 520.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Corporations, " sub-title "Public
Service Commission, " to be known as Section 380A, to fol-
low immediately after Section 380 of said Article, and to
relate to proof in support of applications under Sections
379, 380, 390, 391 and 394 of said Article.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be, and the same is hereby
added to Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Corporations, " sub-title "Public Service Commission, " to be
known as Section 380A, to follow immediately after Section
380 of said Article, and to read as follows:
