CHAPTER 494,
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 93 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Testa-
mentary Law, " to be known as Section 305B, in reference
to contingent remainders.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to Article 93 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Testa-
mentary Law, " said new section to follow immediately after
Section 305A and to be known as Section 305B and to read as
follows:
305B. Any contingent remainder arising under any deed,
will or other instrument executed after July 1, 1929, shall be
capable of taking effect, notwithstanding the determination,
by forfeiture, surrender, or merger, or otherwise, of any pre-
ceding estate of freehold, in the same manner in all respects
as if such determination had not happened; and it shall not be
necessary to appoint trustees to support such contingent re-
mainder in order to prevent the destruction thereof.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 93 of the

mentary Law, " to be known as Section 305C, relating to the
apportionment of rents, annuities, dividends and periodical
payments.
