CHAPTER 387.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land to join with the State Highway Commission of Vir-
ginia, to purchase the interstate highway bridge and ap-
proaches over the Potomac River near Point of Rocks_?
Maryland, and to use funds appropriated for the construc-
tion of roads and bridges in the State highway system for
such purpose, to provide for the vesting of title to said
bridge and approaches jointly in the State of Maryland and
the Commonwealth of Virginia, in each an undivided one-
half interest; to authorize the State Roads Commission of
Maryland and the Board of Supervisors of Loudoun Coun-
ty, Virginia, to purchase the interstate highway bridge and
approaches over the Potomac River at Brunswick, Mary-
land, and the vesting of title to said bridge and approaches
jointly in the State of Maryland and the Board of Super-
visors of Loudoun County, in each an undivided one-half
interest; to provide for the charge and collection of tolls on
said bridges and the application of such tolls on the pur-
chase price of the interstate highway bridge and approaches
over the Potomac River at Brunswick, Maryland, until
such purchase price shall be paid in full, and to make both
such bridges and approaches thereafter free of tolls; to pro-
vide for the payment of one-half of the cost of repair, oper-
ation and maintenance of the said bridges from funds appro-
priated for the maintenance of roads and bridges in the
State highway system.

CHAPTER 388.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 39
of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1888 Edition), title "Allegany County, " sub-title "County
Treasurer, " as said section was amended by Chapter 115 of
the Acts of 1910, the new amendments to allow the County
Treasurer to succeed himself in office.
