990 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 508

The said Registrars shall, at their sittings:

(1) Record upon the registration books the names of all
persons who are qualified voters of the said town under the
provisions of this Act and whose names are not recorded in
said book, together with such information as the Mayor and
Council of Rockville may from time to time by ordinance re-
quire to be recorded; and

(2) Strike from the said books the names of all deceased
persons, and of all persons who shall have removed from the
corporate limits of the said town and remained absent for a
period of six consecutive months and taken up their residence
elsewhere.

483-C. When the Registrars shall complete their duties
they shall return the register book to the Clerk of the Mayor
and Council of Rockville.

If anyone shall feel aggrieved by the action of the Regis-
trars in refusing to register or strike off the name of any
person, or by any other action, such person feeling aggrieved
may appeal to the Circuit Court for Montgomery County and
its decision shall be final.

483-D. It shall be the duty of the Mayor and Council of
Rockville to provide for each town and primary election suit-
able place or places for voting, suitable ballot boxes and bal-
lots in the form and arranged as provided in Section Sixty-
three (63) of Article Thirty-three (33) of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), except that such ballots shall
contain the name of every candidate whose nomination has
been certified to and filed according to the provisions of this
Act.

483-E. No person shall be a candidate for any public
office in the government of the Town of Rockville unless such
person shall be nominated either by a primary election held
as hereinafter provided or by petition in conformity with the
requirements herein.

A candidate for a public office in the government of the
Town of Rockville shall be deemed to have been nominated by
petition when he, or someone in his behalf, shall file, at least
ten days prior to the time for holding the election at which
he desires to be voted on, with the Clerk of the Mayor and

Council of Rockville, a certificate signed by at least twenty
qualified voters containing the name of the candidate, a state-
