AN ACT to regulate trapping of wild animals in Montgomery

County.

CHAPTER 500.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Montgomery County, Maryland, to make special
annual levies of not more than six (06) cents on each
One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of the assessable value of
the real and personal property within the Second Precinct of
the Thirteenth Election District (Silver Spring) of said
County for the purpose of raising the sum of twenty-five
hundred dollars ($2, 500. 00) per annum for maintaining
and operating the fire department now known as Silver
Spring Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., also providing for
the manner in which the number of cents on each one hun-
dred dollars ($100. 00) of the assessable value of the real and
personal property within said certain defined area to be
levied each year shall be determined, and directing the tax
collecting authorities of said County to collect said special
levy and to pay over to the Treasurer of the said Silver
Spring Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., its successor or
successors, the tax so levied and collected for disbursement
for the purposes of maintaining and operating the said fire
department.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for the purpose of providing funds with which
to maintain and operate a fire department in the Second Pre-
cinct of the Thirteenth Election District (Silver Spring) in said
Montgomery County. The. County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County be and they are hereby authorized and empow-
ered to levy annually against all real and personal property
within said area a tax sufficient, but not in any event more
than six cents (06) on each One Hundred Dollars of the assess-
able value of the real and personal property within said area,.
