SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 294 and 295 of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title, "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title, "Health—Schools, " be and the same are
hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 496.
AN ACT to repeal Section 409 of Article 8 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-title
"Pleading, Practice and Process, " as said section was
amended by Chapter 363 of the Acts of 1922, said section
relating to judgments by default.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 409 of Article 8 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-title "Pleading,
Practice and Process, " as said section was amended by Chap-
ter 363 of the Acts of 1922, be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 497.
AN ACT restricting the publication of all official notices and
reports in Montgomery County to publication in two news-
papers of general circulation in the County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no notice, report, return, schedule, list of de-
linquent taxpayers or any official publication whatsoever, re-
quired by law to be published by any officer, official or officials
of Montgomery County, shall be published in more than two
newspapers regarded as Montgomery County newspapers of
general circulation in Montgomery County. Provided that
