CHAPTER 491.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title "Perjury, " the same relating to false oaths
or affirmations with respect to the production records of
cows.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby added
to Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "Perjury, " said new section to
follow immediately after Section 451, to be known as 451-A,.
and to read as follows:
451-A. Any person employed by the State Board of Agri-
culture, the University of Maryland, or any department or
branch thereof, to inspect and/or test cows and/or the quantity
and quality of milk, who shall wilfully make any false oath
or affirmation with respect to the production record of any
cow, shall be deemed guilty of perjury. If any such person
shall make oath or affirmation to two statements, one contradict-
ing the other, with respect to the production record of any
cow, and shall make oath or affirmation wilfully and falsely,
it shall be sufficient, in order to convict, to allege and prove
that one of the said contradictory statements is or must be
false and wilful, without specifying which one.

CHAPTER 492.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
81 and 86 of Article 39 of Bagby's Annotated Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Fish and Fish-
eries, " sub-title "Trout and Other Fish, " the purpose of
said amendments being to change the time and the manner
of taking fish from the waters within the State of Mary-
land.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 81 and 86 of Article 39 of Bagby's
