so used, shall be deposited on interest at as high a rate as may
be obtainable.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted as aforesaid, That the
County Commissioners of Worcester County are hereby au-
thorized, empowered and required to levy annually upon all
the assessable property of said County a special tax sufficient
to pay the interest on said bonds to be issued in pursuance
of this Act, and also a special tax annually sufficient to pay
the principal of the said bonds as they mature.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted as aforesaid, That the
money arising from the sale of the bonds hereby authorized
shall be expended by the County Commissioners of Worcester
County through the agency of a Commission to be known as
the "Worcester County School Building Commission, " here-
inafter called the "Commission, " the members of which shall
serve without pay, but said members shall be entitled to be
reimbursed by the County Commissioners of Worcester County
for the actual expenses of said members incurred in the per-
formance of their duties, which said Commission shall have
five members and shall consist of the County Superintendent
of Schools of Worcester County, a member of the Board of
Education of Worcester County, one citizen of Snow Hill
eligible as a voter of said town, one citizen of Pocomoke City
eligible as a voter of said town, and one citizen of Berlin
eligible as a voter of said town; and all the members of said
Commission, both originally and to fill any vacancies, except
the County Superintendent of Education of Worcester County,
who is hereby made a member ex officio, shall be appointed by
the County Commissioners of Worcester County by and with
the advice and consent of the Board of Education of Wor-
cester County.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted as aforesaid, That said
Commission as soon as practicable after the passage of this
Act shall organize by electing from its members its own Chair-
man and its own Secretary and shall have full power and au-
thority to determine by a majority vote all questions connected
with building school buildings as aforesaid in each of the
towns of Snow Hill, Ocean City, Bishopville, Pocomoke City
and Berlin, except as herein otherwise specially provided; and
the said Commission hereby created shall in its discretion de-
