83A. No huckster, hawker or peddler shall sell or offer for
sale any vegetables, eggs, poultry, meats or other farm pro-
ducts in Calvert County until he shall have first taken out a
license for that purpose in accordance with the provisions of
this sub-title provided however that this sub-title shall not
apply to the farmers or growers selling their own vegetables
or other perishable farm products.

83B. For every such license, the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of Calvert County shall be paid twenty-five dollars ($25. 00)
per annum. The receipts from said licenses shall be expended
for repairing the lateral roads in said County and for no other
purpose. Any person violating the provisions of this sub-title
shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than twenty-five dollars
($25. 00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100. 00), to be
recovered as other fines are recovered.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 460.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
117, 118 and 123 of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Inspections, " sub-title
"Seed, " eliminating the provisions that certain statements
shall not constitute basis for prosecution and also eliminat-
ing certain provisions relating to publishing the results of
the tests made by the State Board of Agriculture, and mak-
ing it unlawful to misrepresent any agricultural seeds.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 117, 118 and 123 of Article 48 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Inspections",
subtitle "Seed", be and they are hereby repealed and re-en-
acted with amendments to read as follows:

117. Every lot of agricultural seeds, as defined in Section
116, except as herein otherwise provided, when in bulk, packages
or other containers of ten pounds or more, shall have affixed
thereto, in a conspicuous place on the exterior of the container
of such agricultural seeds, a plainly written or printed tag
or label in the English language, stating:
