thereto, and any such court is hereby granted jurisdiction to
issue restraining orders and temporary or permanent injunc-
tion.

SEC.. 29. And be it further enacted, That Chapter 103 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1924 au-
thorizing the Mayor and Council of the Town of Takoma
Park, Maryland, in Montgomery and Prince George's Coun-
ties to enact zoning ordinances be and the same is hereby re-
pealed, provided however that all ordinances, orders, regu-
lations or resolutions enacted or promulgated by the said
Mayor and Council of the Town of Takoma Park under and
by virtue of said Chapter, either now in effect or which may
be enacted by the said Mayor and Council before the date
when this Act shall become effective, shall remain in full force
and effect until such time as a zoning ordinance enacted under
the provisions of this Act is made effective within the corpo-
rate limits of the said Town of Takoma Park, Md.

Chapters 118 and 443 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1922 be and the same are hereby repealed,
provided, however, that nothing in this Act shall be taken to
abrogate, alter or impair any provision of any existing con-
tract between the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
and the incorporated towns within the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District, or to repeal Section 20 of the Charter of the
Town of Takoma Park, Maryland as enacted by Chapter 542
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1922.

SEC. 30. And be it further enacted, That if any clause,
sentence, part or parts of this Act, or of any Section thereof
shall be held unconstitutional, such unconstitutionality shall

not affect the validity of the remaining parts of this Act or
of any Section thereof. The Legislature hereby declares that
it would have passed the remaining parts of this Act or any
Section thereof, if it had known such clause, sentence, part
or parts or any Section thereof should be declared unconsti-
tutional.

SEC. 31. And be it further enacted, That, except as other-
wise provided herein, all Acts and parts of Acts, laws and
parts of laws, ordinances and parts of ordinances, inconsistent
herewith or contrary hereto, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
