of this State (including the Judges of the Supreme Bench of
Baltimore City) with a copy of the third supplement of the
Maryland Digest.

And be it enacted that this act shall take effect on June 1st?
1927.

CHAPTER 67.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Commissioners of
Trappe to construct, install, equip, maintain and operate a
water system and plant for the Town of Trappe, Maryland,
and to issue its bonds to an amount of Eighteen Thousand
($18, 000) Dollars to provide funds for that purpose and
to provide for the payment of said bonds with interest
thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That The Commissioners of Trappe are hereby authorized
and empowered to construct, install, maintain, and operate a
water system and plant for the Town of Trappe, Maryland, and
to fix and determine rates, rules and regulations and make con-
tracts for supplying the same.

SEC. 2. That for the purpose of paying for said water sys-
tem and plant The Commissioners of Trappe are authorized and
directed to borrow on the faith and credit of the Town of Trappe
the sum of Eighteen Thousand ($18, 000. ) Dollars and to issue
coupon bonds therefor, in sums of Five Hundred ($500. ) Dol-
lars each, to be signed by the President of The Commissioners
of Trappe and countersigned by The Town Clerk thereof, at-
tested by the corporate seal of the Town; said bonds to be de-
signated as Trappe Water Bonds of 1927, and to be consecu-
tively numbered from one to thirty-six inclusive, and to bear
interest at the rate of five per centum per annum, payable semi-
annually on the first day of January and July in each year,
accounting from July 1st, 1927; and shall be forever exempt
from all taxes for State, County and Municipal purposes, and
shall have printed on them a distinct reference to this Act au-
thorizing their issue.

SEC. 3. That the said bonds to be issued under this Act shall
mature in numerical order to the amount of Five Hundred
