CHAPTER 420.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 672 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1920, entitled "An Act to author-
ize and direct the County Commissioners of Allegany
County to pay the Volunteer Fire Company of Barton, in
said County, the sum of One Hundred Fifty ($150. 00)
Dollars annually and to levy the said amount on the assess-
able property of said County. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 672 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1920, entitled "An Act to authorize
and direct the County Commissioners of Allegany County
to pay the Volunteer Fire Company of Barton, in said Coun-
ty, the sum of One Hundred Fifty ($150. 00) Dollars an-
nually and to levy the said amount on the assessable property
of said County, " be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1927.

CHAPTER 421.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 9
of the Charter of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company in
Harford County, as said Section was amended by Chapter
333 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1904; and to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
10 of said Charter as said Section was amended by Chapter
438 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1924, providing for the election of the president of said
Company, and the change in dates of annual meeting.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 9 of the Charter of the Mutual Fire
Insurance Company in Harford County* as said Section was
amended by Chapter 333 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1904, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to read as follows:
