SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That, all Acts or parts
of Acts, whether the same be Public General or Public Local
Laws, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be, and they
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency, it
being the purpose of this Act to repeal Sections 206 to 212,
both inclusive, of Article 81, title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-
title "Taxation of Dogs, " in so far as said Sections apply to
Prince George's County.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect on the first day of June, 1927.

CHAPTER 388.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
347, 354, 356 and 358 of Article 2 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (Melvin's 1914 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Treasurer, " relating to the col-
lection of taxes in said County, salary of Treasurer: delin-
quent taxpayers and additional clerks and their compensa-
tion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 347, 354, 356 and 358 of Article 2
of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (Melvin's 1914 Edi-
tion), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Treasurer, " be
and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:

347. The person elected County Treasurer shall give bond
to the State of Maryland for the collection of State taxes placed
in his hands for collection, in double the amount of the taxes
to be collected by him, with good and sufficient sureties to be
approved by the Governor, with the condition that the above
bonded Treasurer shall well and faithfully execute his office
arid shall account for to the Comptroller, and pay to the Treas-
urer of the State, the several sums of money which he shall
receive for the State, or be answerable for by law, at such time
as the law shall direct, then the said obligation to be void,

otherwise to be and remain in full force and effect; and he
