CHAPTER 278.

AN ACT to incorporate the Town of Willards, in Wicomico
County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the inhabitants of the Town of Willards, in
Wicomico County, be and they are hereby constituted a body
corporate, by the name of the "Commissioners of Willards, "
and by that name shall have perpetual succession, sue and be
sued, have and use a common seal, which may be altered at
pleasure, and have all powers and privileges incident to or that
may attach to a municipal corporation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the taxable and
corporate limits of the said Town shall begin at a cement post
settled in the ground on the line of the land of J. G. Truitt,
and on the Northerly line of the State Road from Salisbury to
Ocean City, and two hundred thirteen and six tenths (213. 6)
feet Westerly from the point of intersection of the said North-
erly line of said State Road with the Westerly line of the Stone
Road leading from Willards to Powellville, thence running by
and with the said State Road South eighty-six (86) degrees
thirty (30) minutes East thirteen hundred ninety-four (1394)
feet to an angle in the said State Road, thence by and with the
said State Road South eighty-two (82) degrees East five hun-
dred fifty-two and four tenths (552. 4) feet to a cement post
settled in the center of a private road known as "Dennis'
Road, " thence by and with said Dennis Road North seven (T)
degrees forty (40) minutes East fourteen hundred sixty-eight
and one-half (1468 1/2) feet to a cement post, thence through
the land of Cyrus Ennis North four (4) degrees East ten hun-
dred fifty-five (1055) feet to a cement post on the land of
Elizabeth Dennis, thence through the said land of Elizabeth
Dennis, the land of Elijah Tubbs and the land of the Ebenezer
G. Davis Estate North eighty-two (82) degrees West eleven
hundred ninety (1190) feet to a cement post on the land of
Dean W. Richardson, thence by and through the said land of
Dean W. Richardson and the land of J. G. Truitt South
twenty-two (22) degrees ten (10) minutes West twenty-seven
hundred seven (2707) feet to the place of beginning.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all the property
franchises and funds of every kind belonging to or in posses-
