SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 391 of Staton's Code of Public Local Laws
of Worcester County, title Snow Hill, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with the amendments so as to read as
follows:

391. The inhabitants of Snow Hill, Worcester County, Mary-
land, are hereby made and declared a body corporate by the
name of the "Mayor and Council of Snow Hill, " and by that
name shall have perpetual succession and may sue and be sued,
use a common seal, and possess such powers and privileges and
incidents as may attach by law to a municipal corporation, may
purchase or hold real, personal and mixed property and may sell
or dispose of the same, including any and all right, title and
interest of the Mayor and Council of Snow Hill in and to the
existing electric light plant and system, consisting of the real
estate, power plant, distribution and transmission lines, meters,
appliances, fixtures, rights, appurtenances, privileges, franchise
or franchises and any other physical property constituting or
used in or about said electric light plant and system or any part
or parts thereof, if in the discretion of the said Mayor and Coun-
cil of Snow Hill any sale or sales thereof shall be for the benefit
of the said town, and provided any sale or disposition of said
electric light plant and system and franchise or franchises there-
for shall be approved by the Public Service Commission of
Maryland.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted as aforesaid, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an Emergency Law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public safety and being passed *
upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of the mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 21.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 133-C
of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-

land, title "Queen Anne's 'County, " sub-title "'County Treas-
urer, " as said section was amended by Chapter 822 of the
Acts of 1912, changing the dates for advertising and notices
as to delinquent taxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 133C of Article 18 of the Code of Public
