The said Court is hereby given jurisdiction to hear and
determine such causes, establish such liens and decree the
enforcement thereof. If said Court shall determine that said
taxes and/or assessments were legally levied or made by said
Mayor and Common Council, any defect or irregularity in
the tax and/or assessment sale or in the proceeding upon the
report thereof, shall not be a defense to any of such suits. All
such decrees shall be enforced in the same manner as decrees
of said Court are authorized to be enforced by law.

CHAPTER 174.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 497
of Article 17 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1912
Edition), title "Prince George's County, " sub-title "Or-
phan's Court, " increasing the salary of the messenger of
said Court.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 497 of Article 17 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1912 Edition), title "Prince George's
County, " sub-title "Orphan's Court, " be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
497. The messenger of the Orphan's Court for said County
shall receive three dollars per diem for each day of his attend-
ance at the sessions of said Court.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 175.
AN ACT to add five new sections to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County, ", sub-title "Clerk, " subject "Recording of Plats, "
said new sections to provide for the copying of certain old
Plats of Sub-divisions in said County; and directing the
Clerk of Court to pay for the work and materials out of the
receipts of his office.
