outstanding and the bonds then maturing in the event an insuf-
ficient amount is raised by the levies in said respective Election
Districts.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 160.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 5
and T of Chapter 430 of the Acts of 1888, entitled "An Act
to incorporate the Community of Mountain Lake Park" and
to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 8 of said
Chapter 430 of the Acts of 1888 as amended by Chapter
176 of the Acts of 1916, making taxes a lien upon personal
as well as real property.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 5 and 7 of Chapter 430 of the Acts of 1888.
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Community of Mountain
Lake Park", and Section 8 of said Chapter 430 of the Acts of
1888, as amended by Chapter 176 of the Acts of 1916, be and
the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
so as to read as follows:
5. At the said annual meeting or regular adjournment there-
of a rate of assessment shall be annually fixed, agreeably to the
fair valuation of the different lots, improvements thereon and
personal property, said assessment to be collected and enforced
in the manner hereinafter set forth.
7. It shall be the duty of the Annual Committee of the
Community of Mountain Lake Park at some convenient time
between the first day of April and the first day of July in
every year, to determine, for the purpose of assessment, as afore-
said, the fair valuation of all lots, parcels of ground,
buildings and other improvements, as well as all personal prop-
erty subject to county assessment and payment of county taxes,
located in Mountain Lake Park, to which this Act is applicable
but not, however, including the improved property belong-
ing to the Mountain Lake Park Association of Garrett
County, which is used for the common good or the
general purposes of said Community, or of said Associa-
tion, all of which property and improvements shall be ex-
