JOINT RESOLUTIONS
NO. 1.
A Joint Resolution for the appointment of a Legislative
Committee to confer with a similar committee from the State
of Delaware relative to reciprocity as to the licensing of
motor trucks for hire.
WHEREAS, The imposition of license fees by the State of
Maryland upon motor trucks from Delaware operating for
hire in Maryland the imposition of similar fees by the State of
Delaware upon such trucks from Maryland operating for hire
in .Delaware, places a burden upon the owners of motor trucks,
particularly the farmers and dairymen; therefore, be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Speaker of the House of Delegates and the President of the
Senate be and they are hereby authorized and requested to ap-
point a committee consisting of eight members, four on part of
the House of Delegates, and four on part of the Senate, to con-
fer with a similar committee to be appointed by the General
Assembly of Delaware with a view to adopting some plan of
reciprocity relative to the licensing of motor trucks for hire
operating within their respective states whereby owners of such
trucks may be relieved of the present burdensome fees.

NO. 2.
WHEREAS, The Honorable H. Arthur Stump, of the City
of Baltimore and State of Maryland, was duly appointed an
Associate Judge of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City by
Governor Austin L. Crothers on the 18th of April, 1910,
and on November 7, 1911, was duly elected to that office for
the term of fifteen years from the time of his election and
qualification, and until his successor was duly elected and
qualified; and
